Title: Media Supervisor

Location: Denver, CO – Hybrid (onsite Monday/Wednesday/Thursday)

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 DOE

Type: Full-Time

We’re partnering with a growing, integrated advertising agency looking for an experienced Media Supervisor to join its in-house media team. This is a client-facing, hands-on role for someone who brings strong experience across both digital and traditional media and enjoys owning strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and reporting from end to end.

The Media Supervisor will serve as a key day-to-day media lead across a portfolio of clients, with an initial focus on a large, integrated account. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their businesses and goals, partner with internal media specialists to develop strategic recommendations, and collaborate across account, creative, and strategy teams to ensure campaigns are aligned and effective.

This role is ideal for someone who has grown within an advertising or media agency environment and is comfortable moving between high-level client strategy and hands-on media planning and buying.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day media partner for multiple clients, building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of their businesses, audiences, and media needs.
• Develop integrated media strategies and tactical recommendations across digital and traditional channels.
• Partner with internal planning and subject matter expert teams to build media plans aligned with client-specific business and marketing objectives.
• Translate media strategies and recommendations into clear, compelling presentations and lead media plan presentations with clients.
• Manage hands-on planning and buying activities, including vendor negotiations, campaign setup, creative specifications, trafficking, QA, and optimization.
• Oversee campaign budgets, pacing, reconciliation, invoice approvals, and overall budget stewardship.
• Develop measurement frameworks and analyze cross-channel campaign performance, translating results into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Build and present post-campaign reporting that highlights performance, key learnings, and implications for future campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with Account, Creative, Strategy, and Media teams to ensure work is strategically aligned and executed effectively.
• Support and mentor members of the media team, helping foster professional development and strong performance.
• Stay current on emerging media trends, platforms, technology, and measurement capabilities to identify new opportunities for clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of media planning and management experience within an advertising or media agency.
• 2+ years of experience at the Supervisor level or equivalent.
• Strong integrated media background with expertise across digital channels and working knowledge of traditional media, including TV and radio.
• Experience managing media campaigns and budgets of $1M+.
• Strong understanding of media planning, buying, optimization, measurement, and performance analysis.
• Experience supporting objectives ranging from brand awareness and affinity through performance/direct-response campaigns.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent project management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns, clients, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Experience with platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic DSPs (The Trade Desk, Basis, DV360, etc.), and ad servers such as Google Campaign Manager, Sizmek, or Flashtalking.
• Familiarity with media research and planning tools such as Kantar, MRI, Resonate, or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience buying linear TV and radio.
• E-commerce media experience.
• Exposure to advanced analytics and measurement solutions such as MTA, MMM, and cross-channel reach/frequency measurement.
