Located in Franklin, Indiana, Compass Park is a beautiful 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County, just minutes from Indianapolis. Our campus is known for its scenic landscape, featuring mature trees, winding footpaths, and a vibrant atmosphere throughout all seasons.Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while supporting overall facility maintenance. This role helps ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and equipmentInspect and troubleshoot electrical components such as breakers, panels, and outletsPerform routine maintenance and preventative inspections on electrical systemsMaintain and test emergency systems (generators, exit lighting, fire alarms)Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work ordersAssist with general maintenance tasks (basic carpentry, plumbing, and facility repairs)Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or work orders as neededEnsure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentDocument repairs and maintenance activitiesWork with staff to minimize disruption to resident careComplete other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredValid electrician license or certification (per state requirements preferred)Experience in electrical work and general maintenanceKnowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety proceduresBasic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and respond to urgent issuesEssential Elements / Job Functions AssessmentPhysical Requirements:Perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periodsUse hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materialsAbility to climb ladders and lift/carry up to 50–80 poundsStress Factors:Must manage multiple maintenance requests and prioritize urgent repairsMay be required to respond quickly to emergency situationsWork in an active healthcare environment with frequent interruptionsWork Environment:Work is performed in a nursing facility with exposure to residents, staff, and visitorsMust follow all safety and infection control proceduresMay work in confined spaces, mechanical rooms, or occupied resident areasEquipment:Use electrical testing devices and standard maintenance toolsOperate power tools and equipment as neededMay operate facility vehicles or maintenance equipmentBenefitsWork-life balanceWeekly pay with Daily Pay optionsDiscounted child care available to all employeesPaid Time Off (PTO) available after 90 days of employmentComprehensive health, vision, and dental benefits (eligible the first day of the month following 60 days of employmentQualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr Paycom
