Project Accountant Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 Bonus: Performance-based Location: Indianapolis, IN (Keystone Crossing area) Schedule: Fully in-office | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Why This Opportunity Stands Out Our client is a growing, family-owned real estate development organization with strong employee tenure Hands-on, high-visibility role supporting multiple development projects Lean accounting team — your work makes a direct and immediate impact Opportunity to grow alongside the company as new projects come online Exposure to real estate development and project-level accounting Collaborative, supportive environment with an easy-going, team-oriented culture Ideal role for someone who enjoys ownership, independence, and variety Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant Lead project accounting across multiple real estate development projects Manage job costing and multi-entity accounting processes Perform and review account reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Qualifications for the Project Accountant 3+ years of accounting experience Demonstrated experience with job costing Strong understanding of general accounting and financial reporting Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Self-starter comfortable working independently within a small team Preferred Qualifications Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) projects Familiarity with QuickBooks Online Background in real estate, development, or property accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
