Hamilton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Cook to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY! Who We Are The Allure Group is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Cook Responsibilities Prepare food in quantities according to the menu, recipe, and number of persons to be served Comply with state, federal, and all other applicable health care, safety, and sanitation standards Monitor and record temperatures in refrigerators and freezers Inspect special dietary restrictions of residents to assure that the correct diet is served to residents Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services Ensure that food and supplies for meals are readily available Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc. as necessary Cook Requirements High school diploma or its equivalent Knowledge of dietary procedures COVID-19 Vaccination Preferred At least one-year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or another related medical facility What We Offer Competitive pay scale Generous employee referral bonus Weekly payroll Medical and dental coverage 401k Paid time off CEU-eligible training programs Ongoing leadership and professional development training Dedicated and local leadership support Apply today!
