Job Description
- Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess the unique needs of patients and create individualized therapy strategies that support their goals for functional recovery
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to promote improvements in motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living tasks
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Professionals: Work synergistically with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care
- Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers essential therapy practices to ensure continued progress once they're back at home
- Track Progress and Outcomes: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients are on track for success
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Post-graduate certifications and ongoing education encouraged and supported
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) mandatory
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve independence and confidence
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy with both patients and team members
- Creative problem-solving capabilities to adapt therapy plans for diverse needs
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team
