Additional Information About the Role 3x12 hour shifts (1800‑0630) Seeking prehospital, ICU and/or ER experience Airway management, IV/IO access & fluid/blood administration Hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, wound/bleeding control, equipment proficiency, trauma imaging prep BLS, ACLS needed Additional licensures to be obtained within one year: PALS, TNCC, ATC, FCCS, CEN, TCRN, CCRN, CBRN Overview Seeking an experienced trauma nurse to join our dynamic, high‑acuity trauma team as a Senior Trauma Resource RN. This role collaborates with trauma surgeons, APPs, nurses, ED staff, and trauma program leadership. Candidates should have strong critical‑thinking skills, expert communication, and ability to remain calm in complex, rapidly changing clinical situations. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver high‑acuity patient care, supporting safe operations and excellence in trauma nursing practice. Evaluate changes in patient condition, inform and collaborate with families and interprofessional team; update care plans in EMR. Ensure evidence‑based practice and quality patient outcomes. Serve as clinical preceptor/mentor for new and existing staff, provide training on new equipment and instrumentation. Provide feedback on staff evaluations and patient care to management. Support the clinical manager in safe patient care and effective work unit. Demonstrate clinical knowledge and serve as a resource to others. Maintain constant alertness as required for a safety‑sensitive position.
