An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist interested in making a positive impact in a vibrant elementary school setting. Working on a contract basis, you’ll serve one elementary school building, providing comprehensive OT support to students throughout the academic year. This full-time position spans 35-37.5 hours per week, with the assignment running from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027.

You’ll have the opportunity to assess students’ functional physical development and self-regulation skills, enabling them to thrive within the educational environment. Your expertise will be crucial in creating and implementing tailored treatment plans that address each child’s unique needs and guide appropriate student placement. Additionally, you'll champion accessibility by identifying and removing environmental barriers to ensure all students have equal opportunities to participate and succeed.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Licensure is required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments to evaluate readiness, self-regulation, and functional abilities
• Design and implement individualized therapy interventions and monitor progress
• Educate staff and parents on strategies to support student development
• Provide recommendations to enhance accessibility within the school environment
• Document services in accordance with school and legal requirements
