This position requires working on all aspects of the repair process. Candidates must have prior experience with handheld device repair or similar work.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 to 1.5 years of small electronic assembly experience in previous positions
• Technical school graduates are encouraged to apply
• Computer knowledge
• Prior experience with Handheld device repair or similar electronics device repair experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
• Identify parts for replacement and determine when machines require new parts
• Place orders for replacement parts as needed
• Perform a variety of technical and repair-related tasks
• Comfortable working with very small parts/tweezers?
• Follow standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

Additional Information

• May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty
• May require 2–4 years of related experience
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
