Civil Engineer

Job Title
Investigates special construction-engineering problems that may require contract changes, or which could result in a contractor claim or appeal.
Prepares periodic progress reports involving the compilation of data submitted by field personnel to arrive at percentage completion for each contract.
Review actual percentage completion in relation to that scheduled and evaluate contractor's progress.
Reports unsatisfactory progress to the Resident Engineer and reviews, processes, and responds to contractor submittals, RFIs, letters, and invoices.
Resolves safety and quality control issues with the contractor.
Performs quality assurance inspections and quantity verifications.
