Engineering Technician

Job Title: Engineering Technician Job Description We are seeking motivated and highly experienced Engineering Technicians to contribute to our efforts in producing molds, parts, and processes that ensure the delivery of high-quality parts to our customers. This role combines engineering production with research and development activities, requiring keen attention to detail. Responsibilities Produce molds, parts, and processes for high-quality part delivery. Engage in engineering production and research and development activities. Fabricate and build prototypes and test fixtures. Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and fixtures. Troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues. Understand and apply GD&T and tolerance specifications. Repeat processes accurately once trained. Essential Skills Strong mechanical background, especially in fabrication and building test fixtures. Experience in building subassemblies to tight tolerances. Attention to detail and ability to repeat processes once trained. Ability to lift over 40 pounds. Understanding of why specific tasks are performed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with GD&T composites, CNC, manual mills, manual lathes, and epoxy. Must be able to obtain a security clearance. Work Environment This position is based in a lab environment and requires working onsite Monday through Friday. It is a contract-to-permanent role, ideal for someone who enjoys R&D type projects in a stable work environment. Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
