GA DHS - Manual Tester

Job Summary:


- Designing and executing test cases to ensure software application quality and functionality.
- Collaborating with developers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
- Coordinating with the QA team and Leapwork developers to execute Quality Assurance activities.
- Assisting Leapwork developers in creating scripts using established automated testing tools.
- Conducting both manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Developing and executing test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of applications.
- Executing regression tests before release and on demand.
- Developing detailed, comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Maintaining test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Guiding the Leapwork development team on creating test scripts.
- Documenting and tracking defects and inconsistencies in the software.
- Collaborating with developers to reproduce, analyze, and troubleshoot issues.
- Verifying defect fixes and validating resolutions.
- Communicating test progress, issues, and results effectively to the team.
- Preparing and maintaining test documentation.
- Generating and presenting test reports.
- Ensuring all test-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Must have proven experience as a Manual Test Engineer.
- Requires familiarity with incident tracking and test management tools.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Requires strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
