Job Title: Heavy Civil Construction Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Foreman to lead and supervise our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading blueprints and work orders, ensuring the efficient operation of the job site.

• Supervise and manage the job site, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to guide construction activities.
• Oversee crews of 4-15 workers, including laborers, welders, heavy equipment operators, carpenters, and concrete laborers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project timelines and goals are met.

• Proven experience in construction supervision, specifically in heavy civil projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation and supervision.
• 3+ years of experience as a Foreman in Heavy Civil construction.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Experience with bridge and highway construction projects.

Work on Heavy Civil Construction job sites located in Northern Virginia. The role involves overseeing various construction activities, including bridge and highway work. Be prepared to work nights and weekends if necessary to meet project demands. The position requires managing crews of different sizes and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Falls Church, VA.

The pay range for this position is $88400.00 - $108160.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
