Internal Medicine Physician

Role: Primary Care Physician in outpatient settings, focusing on Medicare Advantage senior patient populations in Jacksonville and Orlando, FL. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care with an emphasis on prevention and maintenance. Manage smaller patient panels, typically seeing 12-15 patients daily, with fewer visits per day. Conduct well visits, proactive outreach, same-day urgent care, and transitional care management. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR), ICD-10 coding, and STAR measures to ensure quality care. Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver 5-star patient service and improve health outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) with a license to practice in Florida. Knowledge of EMR systems, ICD-10 coding, and value-based care metrics. Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy in G-Suite and database programs. Up-to-date CPR certification and successful completion of a TB test. Requirements Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine specialization preferred. DEA license and valid Florida medical license. Full-time availability with Monday to Friday hours, no hospital work required.
