About the job Emergency Room Registered Nurse Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the specialized Emergency Department (ED) Float Pool . This full-time, night shift position is vital for ensuring high-quality, continuous patient care across various acute care areas. The RN will act as a patient and family advocate, providing expert nursing assessments and diagnostics with a commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality are maintained. Facilitate patient care through timely nursing assessments, diagnoses, and execution of care plans. Provide plan-based care focused on achieving optimal clinical outcomes and continuous improvement. Float between different units as required by the operational needs of the Emergency Department. Required Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last year or two) Acute Care Emergency Room (ER) RN experience is required. Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or an active COMPACT license, with the ability to obtain a Florida license before hire. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) is current and required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is preferred, but required within 6 months of hire.
