Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks including spotting, site preparation, material handling, crate building, uncrating, and cleaning. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and experienced in construction settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in spotting and site preparation to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Handle materials and equipment carefully and efficiently.
• Build and uncrate crates as needed for various projects.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties to keep the site organized.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience in construction.
• Mechanical inclination with experience using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or demolition is advantageous.
• Must wear PPE including a Type-2 Helmet and steel-toed boots. Vest and glasses will be provided.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted on a construction site that is outdoors and not weather controlled. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Park, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
