LaSalle Network is partnering with a fast-growing electrical construction company to hire a Safety Manager for their Hoffman Estates, IL location, supporting data center and critical infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity for a construction safety professional who wants to build and implement safety processes — not just enforce them — in a fast-paced, high-growth environment working directly alongside contractors and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce site-specific safety plans for construction and data center projects
• Work directly with contractors and field teams to implement safety processes
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and audits
• Identify hazards and ensure corrections happen before incidents occur
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations and training
• Own procedures around lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, fall protection and confined space
• Investigate incidents and near misses, documenting root cause and corrective actions
• Serve as the point person for OSHA compliance, client safety requirements and third-party audits
• Maintain safety documentation, certifications and training records
• Handle new-hire safety and compliance processes
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents on pre-task planning and project safety

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience as a Safety Manager in construction
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 or CHST preferred
• Data center, electrical construction or critical infrastructure experience a plus
• NFPA 70E / arc-flash knowledge valuable
• High-voltage, switchgear or critical-infrastructure experience a plus
• Highly organized with the ability to manage safety documentation across multiple platforms
• Strong communicator comfortable working directly with contractors, subs and field crews
• Confident, resilient personality — able to hold contractors accountable and enforce safety standards

• Compensation: $50-$55 per hour

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8am–4pm
