Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-time

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and carries out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. This position is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit.The LPN will:Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.Experience Qualifications:Current clinical experience as a licensed practical nurse.
