While this role offers remote flexibility, candidates residing near a DART location are preferred to facilitate collaboration and business travel.What You'll DoDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that align with stakeholder needs, provide value, reduce costs, strengthen contractor performance, and minimize riskLead negotiations and contracting activities for assigned categoriesPartner with internal stakeholders to implement procurement programs and achieve business objectivesDrive value creation through supplier sourcing, alternative supplier qualification, and continuous improvement initiativesRun the full RFP process utilizing procurement systems and analytical toolsPerform bid walks with stakeholders and contractors to fully materialize the scope requirementsProvide a complete bid analysis (cost, risk, schedule, etc.) to the stakeholders and provide recommendationsFacilitate contract reviews and execution in partnership with Legal and business stakeholdersIdentify, track, and deliver savings opportunities for assigned spend categoriesMonitor supplier performance, spend trends, and procurement KPIsMaintain accurate procurement data, documentation, and reportingPresent sourcing recommendations, project updates, and category strategies to business leaders and senior managementBe able to accurately use SAP to issue out purchase orders, maintain master data, and pull spend informationSupport procurement system administration and purchasing activities across the organizationWhat You'll BringRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in procurement, construction, engineering, supply chain, or a related fieldEntrepreneurial skill set to build and develop the initiatives with little guidance and varying availability of informationStrong understanding of strategic sourcing, purchasing, and materials management best practices / or strong understanding of construction processes and project deliveryExperience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationshipsKnowledge of procurement documentation including purchase orders, requisitions, quotations, bills of lading, contracts, and invoicesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysisProven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related fieldMaster's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related disciplineSAP ERPStrong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting spend data, financial metrics, and statistical informationExperience developing procurement dashboards, reports, and business analyticsAbility to utilize AI stacks as necessaryWhy Join Dart?We are at the forefront of a transformation here at Dart.
