The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing routine secretarial and administrative functions including, but not limited to drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files and providing callers with accurate information within the Ahfachkee School. Greets and interacts with the general public. Individual works cooperatively with staff, students, and parents. Performs other related duties under the direction of the Assistant Principal or designee. This position is classified as a Supp-52; which requires a 52 week work period (approximately 12 months), paid across a 52 week (12 month) pay cycle. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Minimum of one (1) year of clerical and/or secretarial experience is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrated experience with a variety of office equipment, office policies, practices and procedures. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills utilizing Microsoft Software package. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Benefits:
