Senior Tax Preparer

Silver Bridge CPAs, a full-service CPA firm located in Meridian, ID, provides tax, accounting and advisory services for a diverse roster of clients. We are currently seeking a hands‑on self-starter with 3+ years of recent public accounting tax preparation experience to lead tax engagements for small to mid‑size, closely held businesses, non‑profit organizations, trusts and estates and individuals. Responsibilities: Prepare intermediate to complex tax returns including individual, business, non-profit and trust and estate returns Sort and prepare tax work prior to tax preparation Lead engagements throughout multiple tax phases including research, planning, and consulting, when necessary Input scanned documents to CCH tax software Advise clients while building professional client relationships Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience including preparation of individual and business tax returns CPA license or CPA candidate a plus Demonstrated knowledge of tax law with the ability to effectively perform tax research and communicate findings Strong organization, communication, analytical, client service, time management and PC skills including Microsoft Office & tax software proficiency (CCH ProSystem fx and/or CCH Axcess proficiency are a plus) Attention to detail with the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, mentor staff and work effectively in a paperless, team-oriented environment Competitive compensation, based on experience and desired hours Employer paid health insurance Opportunities for professional advancement Paid CPE, CPA prep time and licensing Flex-time with work/life balance including generous paid vacation and holidays, customized hours, flexible work arrangements, limited overtime during busy season and 4‑day work weeks during the off-season Collaborative environment that allows employees to put family first, when needed Silver Bridge CPAs is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Silver Bridge CPAs
