The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grandville that are seeking skilled Shipping & Receiving Clerks. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, inspect, and document incoming raw materials and finished goods.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized inventory in the warehouse, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Verify accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents against physical shipments.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient with inventory management software and ERP systems
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment; certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification with experience operating various lift types.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation (e.g., customs forms, commercial invoices).
• Proficiency in using barcode scanning systems and inventory management software.
