Requisition #:673361 Location:Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category:Rehab Schedule:Day Shift Employment Type:Casual \/ On Call The Speech Language Pathologist Specializing In Pediatrics-Acute Care Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment referred to Speech Language Pathology. The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients. Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students. Ensures that all patients are supported in reaching their maximum potential through high-quality care and contributions to medical management provided by the Speech-Language Pathologist, while also promoting the therapist’s ongoing professional growth and contributions to the medical center. Shift: Per Diem Education: Required Licensure, Certification, Etc. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred. Current CPR certification. Work Experience Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Infant feeding/swallowing experience required. Acute care experience preferred. Salary Range: Minimum $55.00/hour - Maximum $55.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
