A contracted opportunity is now available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to guide elementary students in a resource room setting near Cottage Grove, OR. This full-time position provides the chance to make a lasting impact on young learners who need personalized instruction and care.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification
Experience with elementary school caseloads preferred
Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Comfort managing a caseload of approximately 25 students
Resourceful, patient, and enthusiastic about inclusive education
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students in a resource room environment
Develop, review, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to foster success
Track student progress and document data to adjust instructional strategies
Create a positive, supportive atmosphere where all learners can thrive
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
