They seek a Manager, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesResearch and analyze complex accounting matters, new accounting standards, and significant business transactions under U.S. GAAPManage technical accounting processes related to revenue recognition, lease accounting, capitalized software, financing transactions, and impairment assessmentsPrepare and review technical accounting memoranda, financial statement disclosures, and supporting documentation for SEC filingsEvaluate the accounting impact of complex transactions and guide appropriate accounting treatmentSupport the month-end and quarter-end close by reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and technical accounting analysesDevelop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirementsPartner with Finance, Legal, Tax, FP&A, and other business teams to provide technical accounting guidance and trainingReview the work of accounting staff and provide technical support on complex accounting mattersCoordinate technical accounting and financial reporting requests with external auditors and regulatory stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and support the implementation of new accounting standardsRequirements5-8 years of technical accounting experienceCommercial industry requiredMinimum of 1 year of management experienceSEC reporting experience is a plusCPA requiredTagged as: Hybrid Remote/OfficeDate Posted:Posted on August 6, 2026Location:New York, NY 10011, USAJob Title:Manager, Technical Accounting & SEC ReportingSalary:$130,000 - $160,000
