Maintenance Technician

Job Title

Complete facility work and service order requests or turns in a timely manner. Handles emergency service calls on a rotational basis. Ensures all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Completes seasonal tasks such as assisting with pool maintenance or snow removal during inclement weather. Respond to and make all necessary repairs for our retail locations. General maintenance of common areas. Perform preventive maintenance around the properties. Perform, maintain and track work orders. Carpentry / HVAC / plumbing / light electrical / drywall / appliance installation. Be available for on call during emergencies.

What You'll Bring:

Qualified applicants will have achieved a high school degree or equivalent and have at least two (2) years of previous residential apartment or facilities management experience required or combination of education and experience. General knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, tile and flooring work. Must have their own basic tools. Physical requirements: some lifting, walking stairs, moving appliances, etc. Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Strong time management skills and attention to detail needed. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills needed. HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
