Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess the mental health needs and challenges of trauma injury patients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and coping strategies.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions to help patients articulate their feelings, navigate their trauma, and foster healing.

• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families about stress management and trauma coping mechanisms, providing resources to support their journey.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Document patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic health records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education courses to uphold your National Certified Counselor certification and stay informed about the latest practices in mental health.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
