Litigation Legal Assistant

Are you an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant looking for your next opportunity? LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a prominent Tampa law firm seeking a skilled professional to support a busy litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex construction defect and insurance recovery matters while supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation. Responsibilities Prepare, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents. Coordinate and manage state and federal court filings, including e-filing. Maintain attorney calendars and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings. Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files. Assist with discovery, document production, and trial preparation. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors. Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses. Qualifications 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm environment. Strong knowledge of Florida court procedures and e-filing requirements. Experience handling complex litigation matters from inception through trial preferred. Construction litigation, insurance recovery, property damage, or commercial litigation experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
