This contract-based role focuses on providing dedicated support for a student requiring G-Tube feeding services, ensuring their health and safety in a collaborative educational environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through December (specific end date to be determined), offering a chance to contribute meaningfully throughout the school semester.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LVN license
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience safely administering G-Tube feedings (required)
• Professionalism, compassion, and adaptability in a school or pediatric environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within an educational team

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care and fulfill all IEP-related services for an assigned student, with particular focus on G-Tube feeding
• Monitor the student's health status, responding appropriately to any issues or needs
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all interventions and care provided
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and family to support the student’s academic participation and well-being
• Uphold best safety practices and adhere to all relevant protocols in the school nursing setting
