Come join our GTE Financial team! We are looking for a highly organized and strategic individual to join as a Bank at Work Advocate. The Bank at Work Advocate is responsible for executing highly effective marketing, events, communications, and projects to achieve organizational goals, increase awareness of the credit union, and position GTE Financial for future growth. Responsibilities Build relationships in the community and seek partnerships aligned with the Bank @ Work program and organizational strategic objectives. Attain new membership, market share, business owners, and quality referrals for GTE’s internal business units. Report quantitative metrics that align with enterprise goals. Collaborate with the Senior Manager Bank at Work Engagement, key stakeholders, and third‑party vendors to execute deliverables. Support multiple assigned markets around Community Financial Centers (CFC), prospect and engage with CFC managers. Assist leadership with the implementation of the Bank @ Work program. Create and manage internal onboarding and communications; develop employee communication and support materials, intranet posts, launch material, presentations, procedure updates, FAQs, etc. Stay current on credit union data, research, reporting, and performance; fluidly adjust focuses and deliverables based on current and anticipated future conditions. Coordinate onsite events, workshops, and community engagement activities; manage local travel to support events, partner meetings, and collaboration with CFC leaders. Facilitate financial literacy workshops in the community; possess strong public‑speaking skills and a working knowledge of banking, credit, budgeting, and lending topics. Adhere to the credit union brand and ensure quality control, compliance, consistency, accuracy, and relevance throughout all output, deliverables, and channels. Demonstrate exemplary interpersonal skills and communicate effectively; be a strong speaker and writer capable of creating compelling and polished presentations autonomously. Develop and optimize financial literacy and education resources to increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of financial solutions. Travel to members’ workplaces; maintain adherence to credit union and departmental standards. Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and other federal laws, including the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Anti‑Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act. Qualifications Undergraduate degree preferred. Minimum one year experience in marketing, the financial industry, or a service industry space. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). Position Details Location: Downtown Tampa – GTE Headquarters. Department Hours: Monday–Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm; Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm. Full‑time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects. Work arrangements (in‑office, hybrid, or remote) may be changed at any time by management with appropriate notice if possible. Remote/Hybrid Work Requirements Quiet workplace with power and high‑speed internet over 100MB per second. Video capability (minimum 1.5Mbps up and down recommended); candidates must meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training.
