Project Engineer - Heavy Civil / Large-Diameter Water Main A General Contractor is hiring a Project Engineer for a heavy civil scope on a major data center project in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role will support a water main extension involving large-diameter pipe, underground utilities, coordination with field operations, and day-to-day project engineering support. Target start date: August 1, 2026 Location: Atlanta Georgia Workplace: On-site What you'll be working on: Heavy civil water main extension work on a live data center project Large-diameter pipe installation, underground utilities, excavation/backfill, and related civil infrastructure RFIs, submittals, document control, project tracking, change documentation, and field coordination Coordination with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, owners, and design teams Daily production tracking, schedule support, quality documentation, and safety coordination What we're looking for: 2+ years of experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, pipeline, water/wastewater, or similar civil infrastructure work Exposure to large-diameter pipe, water main, sewer, storm drain, or utility installation is strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and field coordination skills Ability to work on-site and support a fast-moving construction team Civil engineering, construction management, or related background preferred Package includes: Full accommodation provided Daily living allowance / per diem Flight package for away weekends / home leave Health insurance 401(k) Strong project support and long-term growth opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr US CareerLink
