About Colonial Surety Company Colonial Surety Company is seeking an experienced insurance sales professional motivated by compensation and achieving corporate objectives. This role offers a growth opportunity within the company, with the potential to lead and manage a corporate sales team across business and distribution channels, focusing on vertical initiatives, existing client relationships, and target markets. Position Overview The Senior Insurance Executive will assume a growth-focused role within the organization, with responsibility for driving revenue, managing sales initiatives, and supporting both existing and new business development efforts. This is an in office-based position in Woodcliff Lake, NJ , that requires travel to meet with clients, attend conventions, and participate in industry seminars. Key Responsibilities Manage corporate sales initiatives across business and distribution teams Execute vertical market strategies Build and maintain relationships with existing clients Drive new business development in targeted markets Collaborate with internal sales staff and marketing teams Support and expand existing programs and initiatives Attend client meetings, industry conventions, and seminars Qualifications Proven track record in commercial insurance sales to small and mid-sized businesses Minimum 5 years of experience working for a medium-sized insurance agency Licensed Insurance Agent Strong product knowledge of: Professional Liability General Liability Business Owner’s Policy (BOP) Familiarity with: EPLI Cyber Liability Directors & Officers (D&O) Fiduciary Liability Experience working with agents, MGAs, and carriers/underwriting teams Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing , or related field preferred Strong computer skills including MS Office, Google Business Suite and CRM familiarity Personality & Experience Profile Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills Strong ability to work with and retain existing clients Entrepreneurial mindset Ability to work cross-functionally with internal sales and marketing teams Strong communication skills Self-starter with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills Intuitive, common-sense decision-making abilities Motivated by exceeding targets tied to compensation plans Compensation Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 Additional Bonus Structure A cover letter is required when applying for this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr Colonial Surety Company
