Financial Consultant

Position Overview Financial Consultant – Anticipated End Date: 2026-07-11 Location: PR-SAN JUAN, TORRE CHARDON BUILDING, 350 AV. CARLOS E. CHARDON, SUITES 325, 500 & 610. Hybrid: 1–2 days in‑office per week; remaining time remote. Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday; additional hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required. Responsibilities Review and interpret historical financial data, projections, and results. Perform consulting services for business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions. Identify complex financial problems, research solutions, and implement corrective steps for greater efficiency. Advises management on financial models and recommendations. Prepare complex presentations. Prepare financial planning components of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders and applicable government reports, and budget reports. Serve as a resource to staff and outside departments. Manage administrative expenses and maintain more than 50 cost centers, overseeing spend at that level. Support FP&A analysis for operating expenses and collaborate with cost‑center managers to track, analyze, and keep spend within budget. Support processes around identifying and tracking cost‑saving initiatives and opportunities. Train and review work of lower‑level Financial Analysts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Preferred: MBA, CPA, or CMA. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking). Previous experience managing budget forecasts and providing variance explanations.
