Fullstack Lead Application Engineer

Hybrid (NYC or Waltham) Trinity is seeking a full‑stack Lead Application Engineer to join our dynamic software development team, building innovative applications that transform the life sciences commercial model through technology and artificial intelligence. Position Responsibilities Own and develop verticals of the technology product, setting direction in alignment with Engineering leadership. Scope, manage timelines, and decide the technical approach for multi‑faceted product features. Establish a rigorous quality assurance practice, including both manual and automated testing. Design and develop AI‑powered agents and agentic workflows for life sciences use cases. Serve as a go‑to expert for junior team members and peers. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or an equivalent practical experience. Work Experience : Demonstrated success in developing, launching, and scaling impactful software applications. Other Qualifications Agile development experience in fast‑paced team environments. Full‑stack development abilities, including: Typescript/Node.js APIs (must‑have) Python React (TSX, CSS) SQL and ORMs, ideally PostgreSQL Proficiency with tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor for agentic programming. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in enterprise codebases. Passion for emerging technologies, database architecture, and best engineering practices. Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills; ability to build credibility with cross‑functional teams and shape ambiguity. Team player committed to team success and willing to help fill staffing gaps. Salary & Benefits Min. $160,000 base salary with an annual discretionary performance bonus.
