Job Overview Boulder Care is hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners aligned with harm‑reduction principles to deliver medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in a fully remote outpatient setting. Clinicians in this role independently initiate and manage buprenorphine treatment within a structured, team‑supported model of care. This is a 100% remote, full‑time, W2 position. Key Responsibilities Prescribe and manage buprenorphine for opioid use disorder in an independent, outpatient setting. Initiate and conduct buprenorphine inductions and provide ongoing care and monitoring. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to support patient recovery and harm‑reduction goals. Maintain HIPAA‑compliant private workspace and documentation. Adhere to state practice guidelines and work within legal framework for medication‑assisted treatment. Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, VA, WA, WY. Licensure that allows independent practice (no supervising physician) in Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, or Virginia. At least 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine in an independent outpatient setting, including initiating care. Full‑time availability (30–40 hours per week) with flexibility for various shift structures. Strong patient‑centered practice and self‑autonomous workflow. Private workspace with HIPAA‑compliant setup. Schedule & Work Structure Full‑time: 30–40 hours per week. Possible structures: 3x10, 4x8, 4x10, or 5x8. Paid break allotments: for 8‑hour shifts, one 30‑minute and one 10‑minute break; for 10‑hour shifts, one 30‑minute and two 10‑minute breaks. Compensation & Benefits (Full‑time) Salary: $130,000–$140,000 (up to $145,000 in select markets) for 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week). This equates to approximately $62.50–$67.31 per hour (up to $69.71 per hour in select markets). Pro‑rated by FTE: 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) $104,000–$112,000; 0.75 FTE (30 hours/week) $97,500–$105,000. Advanced certification pay differentials available after 6 months: +2% for PMHNP, +1% for CARN‑AP. W2 employment with health, dental, and vision coverage (Boulder covers up to 100% of monthly premiums for individual coverage, 60% for dependents). Vacation: 4 weeks/year (5 weeks after 2 years). 9 paid holidays. 12 weeks fully paid parental leave after 6 months. Sick leave accrues at 1 hour for every 30 paid hours. State licensure, DEA registration, renewals, malpractice insurance, and credentialing are fully covered. Company‑issued equipment: laptop, additional monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
