Senior Robotics Software Engineer

DescriptionKforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer.Key Responsibilities:* Develop rapid prototypes and conduct feasibility studies to validate technical approaches* Design, implement, and test software applications and supporting components* Build graphical user interfaces using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) design pattern* Develop software and reusable libraries focused on communication with FANUC robots* Create libraries that integrate external devices and sensors, including infrared and color cameras, laser profilometers, ultrasonic probes, PLCs, motor-control systems, and digital I/O devices* Use or develop tools for offline robotic-arm path planning and collision avoidance* Apply stereo-vision image processing and laser profilometry to locate objects in three-dimensional space* Develop calibration processes for tools, sensors, and objects within a robotic cell* Evaluate the feasibility and accuracy of sensors, algorithms, and predictive models for specific automation tasksRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field* Five or more years of relevant software engineering experience* Strong proficiency in C#* Professional experience with object-oriented programming, .NET standards, and dependency injection* Experience developing with WPF and MVVM* Experience using development tools such as Visual Studio and Git* Working knowledge of linear algebra and trigonometryJob TypeDirect HireCompensation65 - $65
