Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - 2520 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with critical/ICU patients; ABG draws; weaning and extubating patients; vent management; BiPAP and CPAP management; nebulizers.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Placing art lines; intubation. NICU experience; experience in C-sections; assisting with deliveries.

Unit Details: Neonate to geriatric patients in inpatient, ED, and ICU/critical care settings, including deliveries and open hearts. Uses Pyxis, Puritan Bennett vents, and Hamilton vents.

Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend. 1 summer and 1 winter holiday per contract. No call.

Floating Requirements: Will float throughout the facility and be assigned various units, including ER.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
