Overview: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy-gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures that house fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join our manufacturing team and help deliver high-quality finished products for customers across the power generation industry. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing large fabricated steel products while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience applying industrial coatings in a manufacturing, commercial, or heavy equipment environment. Responsibilities Prepare steel and aluminum surfaces for painting through cleaning, masking, sanding, grinding, or blasting operations. Apply industrial coatings using conventional and air-assisted spray equipment. Paint large fuel tanks, generator enclosures, structural steel frames, and other fabricated products according to customer specifications. Mix and apply two-part paint systems while maintaining proper coating thickness and finish quality. Inspect completed work for quality, appearance, and compliance with project requirements. Perform touch-ups and corrective work as needed. Troubleshoot paint application issues and recommend process improvements. Maintain painting equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe and organized condition. Work closely with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing schedules and customer expectations. Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and PPE requirements. Requirements Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial painting experience is required. Experience applying industrial coatings, epoxies, polyurethanes, or similar heavy-duty paint systems is strongly preferred. Experience painting large fabricated steel products, structural steel, heavy equipment, tanks, trailers, or similar industrial components preferred. Experience operating spray equipment and applying two-part paint systems. Automotive painting experience alone is not sufficient unless combined with industrial or commercial coating experience. Ability to read measurements, work instructions, and customer specifications. Manufacturing or production environment experience required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to support changing production priorities and occasional overtime as needed. Must pass a competency test, spray test, and pre-employment physical, including a drug screen. At Global Power Components, our mission is simple: Inov8OrDie Driven by this mindset, GPC has grown from 200 to more than 2,000 employees in just five years, expanding from one manufacturing facility to four locations across the Milwaukee area, including our new 500,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in West Milwaukee. We design and manufacture the critical infrastructure that surrounds and supports power generation. But what sets GPC apart isn't just what we build — it's how we work. We move fast. We make decisions. We solve problems. We challenge ourselves to continuously improve, raise the bar and deliver quality work on time. We look for ways to remove unnecessary complexity and make work easier for our customers, our partners and each other. And through it all, we protect our people, our workplaces and the reputation we've built. GPC isn't a traditional corporate environment — and we don't want to be. We expect people to take ownership, speak up, make decisions and get things done. As GPC continues to grow, our people have opportunities to take on significant responsibility, solve bigger problems and make a visible impact on the business. If you're energized by growth, comfortable with change, willing to roll up your sleeves and want to help build what's next in power generation, GPC is a place where you can make an impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr BHP, Inc dba Global Power Components
