Technical Accounting Manager

We're seeking an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join our finance leadership team. Key Responsibilities Research, interpret, and document technical accounting issues under U.S. GAAP. Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with evolving accounting guidance. Prepare technical accounting memorandums and position papers for complex transactions. Partner with executive leadership on acquisitions, divestitures, debt transactions, equity transactions, lease accounting, revenue recognition, and other significant business initiatives. Review contracts and business arrangements to determine appropriate accounting treatment. Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for technical accounting matters. Coordinate with external auditors and provide support during annual audits and quarterly reviews. Evaluate and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and operational leaders on cross-functional initiatives. Mentor and develop accounting staff while promoting best practices across the finance organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting research. Experience preparing technical accounting memos and analyzing complex transactions. Experience with financial reporting and internal controls. Public accounting experience with a Big Four or national CPA firm is highly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
