Position Materials Research Lab Assistant Internship Location Chandler, AZ Job ID 2227-7497 Openings 1 Summary This paid internship offers valuable hands‑on experience in conducting laboratory analyses, experiments, and processes to support research and development projects in the semiconductor industry. The position is part‑time (15‑20 hours per week) with an option for full‑time (40 hours per week) during the summer. Responsibilities Takes ownership of small development sub‑projects as assigned. Designs and conducts experiments, including instrument operation, sample preparation, and performance characterization, under minimal supervision. Processes data and provides analysis summary and may present results at group meetings. Creates new testing processes and improves upon current processes. Knowledge and understanding of safety and housekeeping standards and practiced in daily activities. Learn and keep familiar with lab procedures. Responsible for communicating with supervisor and team members, also may be assigned to cross‑functional teams. Qualifications Current high school student (18+ years old), high school graduate, or currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree program.
