This role involves performing quality assurance on raw materials and finished products, blending experimental mixtures, and conducting various lab tests. The position requires a quality-minded, hardworking individual with strong communication skills who can contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A drug screen (including testing for cannabis) and criminal background check must be completed prior to starting in this position.Key Responsibilities* Perform Quality Assurance testing and evaluations on raw materials and finished products.* Prepare and issue reports to company personnel.* Maintain accurate records of Quality Assurance and experimental results.* Develop a moderate familiarity with raw material and finished product specifications.* Perform testing functions such as tensile, penetration, bending, and flexibility.* Assist with the training of other lab personnel.* Conduct experimental mixing and testing of building products.* Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.* Safely lift 50 pounds a few times per day.* Work overtime and various shifts when required.Required Qualifications**Experience:** Experience in a lab setting is preferred, with a background in materials science considered beneficial. Recent graduates are also considered.**Skills:** Candidates must be quality-minded, organized, and possess the ability to take feedback constructively. Professionalism, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
