Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests across disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established standards.
• Evaluate test outcomes for correctness, resolve discrepancies, and perform calibration and maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for various testing protocols as required.
• Document all processes in detail, mentor new team members or trainees, and contribute to the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with the preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain all necessary certifications throughout your tenure.
