Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a spectrum of routine and intricate clinical laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and undertake preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all laboratory procedures with thoroughness, support the training of new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all necessary regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within a year of hire.
• It is essential to maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
