• Evaluate test results for their accuracy, troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies, and routinely maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare them meticulously for various tests as necessary.
• Keep detailed records of procedures, mentor new team members or students, and uphold the high quality standards this lab is known for.
• Ensure a safe and tidy working environment while complying with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within your first year on the job.
• Keep your certification current for the duration of your employment.
