What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory testscovering areas such as hematology, chemistry, immunology, and beyondadhering strictly to established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results by thoroughly analyzing outcomes, troubleshooting discrepancies, and performing necessary preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection activities and prepare samples meticulously for testing as required.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, take part in training new staff or students, and contribute to upholding exemplary lab quality standards.
• Create a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
