Description What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct standard and complex clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols.
• Review results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment by adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in an allied health field along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Keep your certification current throughout your employment.
