Your Role

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical testscovering areas like hematology, chemistry, immunology, and much moreadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, identify inconsistencies, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Provide support in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and assist in maintaining lab accreditation standards.
• Uphold a safe and clutter-free working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health, accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Certification by ASCP or AMT Board in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the employment term.
