Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols with precision.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document testing procedures in detail, play a role in training incoming staff or students, and promote laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and secure workspace while conforming to accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain ongoing certification throughout your tenure with us.
