Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a Level II trauma hospital in Pontiac, MI.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab - IR unit supporting a Level II trauma hospital
• Adult-geriatric patient population
• Services include cardiac catheterization, angiography, peripheral angioplasty with/without stent placement, venography, cardiac pacemaker insertions, and non-vascular interventional procedures
• Supports both inpatient and one-day outpatient services
• Uses Paragon EMR
• Day shift with variable scheduling between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM, including options of 5x8s, 4x10s, or 2x8 with 2x12 combinations
• On-call requirement of 8-12 days per schedule with one full weekend per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience required
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• License required if applicable
• Compact license not accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Hospital-provided procedural scrubs required;
  no outside clothing such as sweatshirts or long sleeve shirts permitted in the procedure room
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
