Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager - Indirect Procurement

Lead a high-impact portfolio of indirect sourcing initiatives spanning professional services, marketing, technology, logistics, facilities, travel, and other enterprise categories. This senior contract role will shape category strategies, run competitive sourcing events, negotiate commercial terms, and strengthen supplier performance across U.S. and Canadian operations.

The best fit is an experienced strategic sourcing leader who can step into a complex matrix organization, build credibility quickly, and independently move multiple initiatives from market analysis through contract execution. Direct experience sourcing professional services and marketing categories is essential.

Schedule: Standard business hours; three days onsite each week

Responsibilities

• Develop, align, and execute category sourcing strategies for professional services, marketing and advertising, information technology, human resources, real estate, travel and expense, meetings and events, courier and office services, transportation, warehousing, pallets, CAPEX, MRO, spare parts, and related indirect spend.
• Analyze current buying practices, stakeholder needs, market conditions, supplier capabilities, and industry benchmarks to identify savings, service, resilience, and innovation opportunities.
• Plan and lead RFP and RFQ processes, evaluate proposals, model scenarios, and present fact-based recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Negotiate pricing, service levels, commercial terms, and contract conditions while coordinating agreement review and ratification with Legal, Compliance, HR, Finance, and other partners.
• Build and maintain a robust supplier base through market studies, competitive intelligence, and targeted supplier development.
• Lead supplier relationship management activities, quarterly and annual business reviews, performance scorecards, corrective action plans, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Manage spend visibility, compliance, tail spend, cash-flow opportunities, and cost-out/value-in initiatives; validate and track savings with Finance.
• Partner with U.S., Canadian, and global procurement teams to create sourcing synergies across business units, brands, and regions.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement policies, processes, and category options while maintaining a service-oriented partnership model.
• Prioritize and execute multiple simultaneous projects with urgency, sound judgment, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in strategic purchasing, strategic sourcing, category management, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated professional-services procurement experience, including categories such as HR services, temporary labor, recruitment, relocation, real estate, travel, meetings and events, or consulting services.
• Demonstrated marketing procurement experience, including creative, advertising, agency, or outsourced sales services.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience leading competitive sourcing events, proposal analysis, supplier selection, and contract development.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, multicultural, matrix environment.
• Strong data analysis, financial acumen, presentation, project management, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, coach peers, and drive initiatives through ambiguity or resistance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new procurement or business software quickly.
• Ability to work onsite in Louisville, Colorado, three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strategic sourcing experience within food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, or another complex multi-brand enterprise.
• Experience across additional indirect categories such as IT, transportation, third-party warehousing, CAPEX, MRO, pallets, or office services.
• Supplier relationship management experience using performance indicators, business reviews, and action plans.
• Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian stakeholders or collaborating with a global procurement organization.
• People leadership, peer coaching, or category-team leadership experience.

Colorado employees accrue at least one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours or six eight-hour days per year. Unused accrued leave carries forward up to the applicable statutory limit, subject to Colorado law and CRG policy.
