RESPONSIBILITIES

The Systems Administrator, Installation is expected to be able to accomplish the following: Monitors andmanagessystem resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times tomaintainoperating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts,maintainingsystem documentation, tuning system performance, installing system widesoftwareandallocatingmass storage space. Interactswith users andevaluatesvendor products. Makes recommendations topurchasehardware and software, coordinates installation andprovidesbackup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

ActiveTS/SCI + CI Poly clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Minimum5-8 years of experience in systems administration within enterprise environments. Experience supporting multi-user systems in Windows and/or Linux server environments. Experience operating within DoD or Intelligence Community environments. One of the following DoD 8570/SP-SYS-002 certifications: Security+ (CE) SSCP CySA+ GSEC CND One of the following environment certifications: Microsoft Windows Server certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate) Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Linux+ (CompTIA) VMware VCP

The Systems Administrator, Installation maintainssmooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
